International Partners

“Declare His glory among the nations, His marvellous works among all the peoples!”

Psalm 96:3.

Worship is the goal and the fuel of missions: Missions exists because worship doesn’t.

Missions is the churches way of saying: The joy of knowing Christ is not a private, tribal, national or ethnic privilege - It is for all; and that’s why believers ‘go’. Because the person who has tasted the joy of worshipping Jesus will want all the families of the earth included. “All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations shall worship before You.” (Psalm 22:27).

Seeking the worship of the nations, including Ireland, is fuelled by the joy of those who worship. You can’t commend what you don’t cherish. You can’t proclaim what you don’t prize. Worship is the fuel and the goal of missions. (John Piper, Desiring God).

EdenGate's aim is to facilitate “worship” through church planting in what has become the least-reached English-speaking country in the world: Ireland. We do this by intentionally seeking out like-minded, international Gospel partners open to supporting Word-based church plants in Ireland.

Our main way of supporting any US/international church interested in missions in Ireland is to seek out, introduce and facilitate a Gospel partnership(s) in Ireland. Over time an indigenous vision for Word-based church plants is developed, implemented and supported under the leadership of the local Irish church or para-church organisation.

Check out our US/international church partners below. EdenGate is committed to managing the logistics of your US/Ireland partnership. As a result, you and your Irish partner church are freed up to focus on local ministry.

For more information on how you and your church can get involved, please do get in touch.

“In short, I am a slave in Christ to this faraway people for the indescribable gloryof everlasting life which is in Jesus Christ our Lord”.

Patrick’s Letter to the Soldiers of Coroticus (AD 425).
