The K Club
First Established: 1991
Designed By: Arnold Palmer
The internationally acclaimed K Club resort is home to two famous golf courses, namely the Palmer course and the more recently designed Smurfit course, with the former holding the honour of being the only golf course in Ireland to have hosted the Ryder Cup. The Palmer course has also hosted the 2016 Irish Open and the European Open no less than 13 times.
Designed by Arnold ‘The King’ Palmer to play long and be truly luxuriously expansive, the Palmer course possesses many outstanding and memorable holes, with the River Liffey, which famously flows through Dublin city, coming in to play on a number of shots, within this immense and truly impressive parkland layout.
