Day 3 – Journey to Northern Ireland

• Depart Dublin and drive to Newcastle, Northern Ireland

Day 4 – Exploring Newcastle & Downpatrick

• Visit the Saint Patrick Visitor Centre in Downpatrick

• Tour Down Cathedral, St. Patrick’s resting place, with views from Cathedral Hill

• Hands-on baking experience at Tracy’s Farmhouse Kitchen, sampling homemade breads and jams

Day 5 – Scenic Journey to Belfast

• Take the Strangford Lough ferry from Portaferry to Strangford

• Coffee stop at Harrisons of Greyabbey

• Continue to Belfast and check in at the Grand Central Hotel, the tallest building in the city

• Free time to explore Belfast: St. George’s Market, Waterfront Hall, SSE Arena, and city centre

Day 6 – North Coast Adventure

• Visit Carrickfergus Castle, one of Ireland’s best-preserved medieval fortresses

• Drive through the village of Glenarm

• Lunch stop at Carnlough Harbour

• Optional: Walk The Gobbins cliff path (timing permitting)

• Explore the Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site

• Visit the ruins of Dunluce Castle, perched on a cliff edge

• Return to Belfast for overnight at Grand Central Hotel

Day 7 – Belfast to Dublin

• Morning History of Terror walking tour with DC Tours, exploring the Troubles and peace process

• Visit Titanic Belfast, the world’s largest Titanic experience

• Explore Crumlin Road Gaol, a former 19th-century prison

• Depart Belfast and travel south to Dublin

• Check in at Jurys Inn Christchurch

• Evening entertainment at The Merry Ploughboy Show – Irish cuisine, music, song, and Irish dancing

Day 8 – Departure

• Breakfast at hotel

• Check out and transfer to Dublin Airport

We will arrange arrival and departure transfers for group flights. If you will be arriving or departing at a different time, we can assist you with transfers, but those are not included in the tour price.

Cancellations

Regardless of reason, cancellations are costly, so we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance:

INDIVIDUAL CANCELLATIONS: All cancellations must be in writing.

• From the time of deposit until 100 days before departure, a $150 per person penalty.

• From 99-30 days before departure $350 per person penalty plus any non-refundable deposits to airlines or ground suppliers.

• An individual cancelling less than 30 days before departure will receive NO REFUND.

• Cancellations must be received in writing by 5:00 p.m. central time on the last business day of the applicable time period.

• For flight changes or cancellations, revision fees and/or airline cancellation charges will apply.

• Roommates cancelling can result in a single supplement charge for the roommate. The Participant who cancels will be responsible for that charge if a substitute roommate cannot be found.

• Trip Cancellation and Interruption Insurance is strongly recommended.

• EdenGate Travel cannot assume responsibility for any additional costs or fees relating to the issuance and/or cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not made through EdenGate.
