Day 1 – Tuesday, October 1, 2024: Depart for Greece

• Depart from the USA on overnight flights to Thessaloniki, Greece

• Prepare to walk in the footsteps of the Apostle Paul

Day 2 – Wednesday, October 2, 2024: Thessaloniki Arrival

• Arrive at Thessaloniki Airport and meet your local representative

• Transfer to your hotel in Thessaloniki

• Enjoy a welcome dinner and time to rest after your flight

Day 3 – Thursday, October 3, 2024: Philippi, Kavala & Thessaloniki

• Travel to Philippi, where Paul established one of the earliest Christian churches

• Visit:

  • The river where Lydia was baptized

  • Ruins of the prison where Paul and Silas were held (Acts 16:9–33)

  • The Agora, 5th–6th century Basilica, and ancient Theater

• Lunch by the sea in Kavala (ancient Neapolis), where Paul first landed in Europe

• See Kavala’s aqueduct and acropolis

• Return to Thessaloniki for dinner at the hotel

Day 4 – Friday, October 4, 2024: Berea, Meteora & Kalambaka

• Visit Berea, where the Bereans “received the word with great eagerness”

• See the Bema of St. Paul, featuring Byzantine mosaic depictions of Paul’s preaching

• Pass Mount Olympus, legendary home of the Greek gods

• Drive through spectacular mountain scenery to Meteora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site

• Visit the monasteries of Meteora, built atop towering rock pinnacles since the 14th century

• Learn about the hermits and monks who founded these remarkable sanctuaries

• Dinner and overnight in Kalambaka

Day 5 – Saturday, October 5, 2024: Delphi & Athens

• Travel to Delphi, considered the center of the ancient world

• Walk the Sacred Way past the Athenian Treasury, Theater, Stadium, and Temple of Apollo

• Explore the Delphi Archaeological Museum, featuring the famous Bronze Charioteer

• Reflect on Paul’s challenge preaching among pagan cultures

• Arrive in Athens for dinner in the Plaka district, the city’s historic heart

Day 6 – Sunday, October 6, 2024: Athens & Cruise Embarkation

• Enjoy a city tour of Athens, including:

  • The Acropolis and Acropolis Museum

  • Mars Hill (Areopagus), where Paul preached (Acts 17:22) — with insights shared by Pastor Case

• Embark on your Windstar “Treasures of the Greek Isles” Cruise (5 PM departure)

• Relax and enjoy the ship’s many amenities, including spa, live music, and fine dining

• All meals, beverages, and Wi-Fi included onboard

Day 7 – Monday, October 7, 2024: Mykonos

• Explore the island of Mykonos, famed for its whitewashed charm and blue-domed churches

• Optional excursions include:

  • Agios Giannis Beach with views toward Delos

Day 8 – Tuesday, October 8, 2024: Ephesus, Turkey (Kuşadası)

• Dock in Kuşadası, Turkey, and travel to Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the world

  • Great Theatre, where Paul preached

  • Ephesus Archaeological Museum in Selçuk

• Enjoy an on-site Bible study with Pastor Case

Day 9 – Wednesday, October 9, 2024: Patmos

• Disembark on Patmos, where John wrote the Book of Revelation

• Visit the Monastery of St. John (1088 AD) and its museum of sacred artifacts

• Tour the Grotto of the Apocalypse, the cave where John received his visions

Day 10 – Thursday, October 10, 2024: Santorini

Day 11 – Friday, October 11, 2024: Monemvasia

• Visit the Church of Christ Elkomenos, featuring ancient Byzantine icons

Day 12 – Saturday, October 12, 2024: Nafplio

• Explore Nafplio, a charming port with Venetian fortresses and cobbled streets

• Visit the Castle of Palamidi, a masterpiece of Venetian architecture

• Tour the ancient city of Epidaurus, renowned for its 12,000-seat theater and healing sanctuaries

• See Mycenae and the famous Lion’s Gate, key sites of Homeric legend

Day 13 – Sunday, October 13, 2024: Athens & Cape Sounion

• Disembark in Athens and continue exploring with your Biblical guide

• Travel to Cape Sounion for a breathtaking sunset at the Temple of Poseidon

• Conclude your journey with a farewell dinner in Athens

Day 14 – Monday, October 14, 2024: Return Home

• Transfer to Athens International Airport for flights back to the USA

We will arrange arrival and departure transfers for group flights. If you will be arriving or departing at a different time, we can assist you with transfers, but those are not included in the tour price.
